WHAT IS IT?

A mobile music search engine that allows people to discover, play, share and discuss music.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

AudioM8 finds free music on the Internet based on the artist, album and/or title. You can also see what your friends have listened to, and how they rate it.

Music samples are downloaded directly to your phone when you select them. If your phone has enough free storage space, you can save to your phone to play again or use as a ring tone.

Later, full music tracks will be available to buy from retailers advertising on AudioM8.

CAN I USE IT ON MY PHONE?

Every phone with a WAP browser (which is almost all of them) and Internet access set up can access AudioM8. Of course, your phone will need to support mp3 playback to listen to the samples that AudioM8 finds.

If your phone supports java applications (MIDP 2.0 and the PDA Optional Package - this means most recent Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones), you can also download the AudioM8 Player, which has all the functions of the WAP site integrated with a music player.

Please bear in mind that the AudioM8 Player is still in Beta!
